First Boise Post

Our baby is Eight Weeks along. She/He is about the size of a thumbprint this week. Everyone has been telling me that lots of hormones equals a healthy baby, so I'm hoping that all the nausea, headaches and icky feelings are helping my little baby grow big and strong!

Alex has been working for a week now and it's been hard for him to adjust to this new company. He went from IT manager to the lowest man on the totem pole in a team of five people. Hopefully it will get easier for him as the time goes by and he figures everything out. I just hope they figure out what a fountain of knowledge and experience they have on their hands and use him to his fullest potential.

I've been sitting at home, painting Mandie's dining room chairs...a project that I've been working on for three or four years now!

We've been looking for houses to rent in the Meridian/Eagle Rd area. We saw one yesterday that we really liked! It has only been lived in for a month by the owner's sister and has all these wonderful upgrades like beautiful kitchen cabinets and bathroom countertops. Plus the bedrooms are very nicely arranged for a new baby and a home office. The owner's parents live just down the street and they are retired missionaries from Zimbabwe. Its located in a very nice, new housing area that doesn't have too many renters and even has a community pool and club house. Hopefully, hopefully, hopefully we find something soon.
